The purpose of the Services to Seniors is to assist seniors and disabled persons to maintain their independent living status.
Services to Seniors is a non-profit community organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and staffed by a part-time Resource Coordinator. The Resource Coordinators salary is funded by annual grants from Manitoba Health Services. The day-to-day operation expenses are funded by donations and community fund raising activates.
Services to Seniors serves individuals of the RM of Clanwilliam, RM of Park North, North portion of RM of Harrison, Sandy Lake, Onanole, Erickson, and Wasagaming.
Services to Seniors services are provided by the: Resource Coordinator, Fee for Service Workers, and Volunteers.
Services we provide are: Friendly visits, escorts to appointments, “Daily Hello” calls, write letters, foot care, house cleaning, yard work, and delivery of mail. |
