Judging Day – July 22/2009
Judges were escorted by Joyce Coulson and Hazel Michaelchuk on a day long tour. Some of the many sights taken in were: Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ukrainian Greek Orthordox Hall, the old “Jail”, Water Plant, Pioneer Cemetary, Waste Disposal Site, Stella Kowalchuk’s Shantey Gallery, The Ukrainian Museum and several beautiful gardens throughout the Village. A large turn out from the community enjoyed a BBQ supper to close out the day.
